CONVENTION & TRADE EXHIBITION HALL

Balmoral Connexions

A proposed venue for trade exhibitions, conferences and multimedia experiences, connected to the hotel and wider Balmoral Park destination.

ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPT / FINAL DESIGN SUBJECT TO APPROVAL

01 / INTRODUCTION

A setting for trade,
learning and events.

Balmoral Connexions brings exhibition and convention uses into the development. The proposal includes product displays, buyer meetings, demonstrations and professional learning, with hospitality support from Balmoral Suites.

Trade exhibitions

Industry shows, product launches and curated consumer showcases form part of the proposed programme. Rotating displays could complement event hire, subject to the final venue strategy.

Conferences and seminars

Industry forums, training programmes and association meetings could bring on-site delegates together with remote speakers and online audiences.

Celebrations and cultural programmes

The concept also considers weddings, private banquets, corporate functions, awards dinners and selected cultural events, subject to operational approvals.

02 / THE EXPERIENCE

Multimedia and
the visitor experience

Multimedia capabilities are intended to help organisers engage audiences and adapt spaces to different events. The technology brief also proposes hybrid participation and ways to extend an event’s audience beyond the venue.

Event production

Professional audio, presentation displays, adaptable lighting and production control form part of the proposed technical programme.

Hybrid and interactive formats

Camera capture, streaming and audience Q&A could support remote participation. Projection mapping, AR/VR demonstrations and touch displays are optional concepts for the final brief.

Arrival and event flow

Registration, clear wayfinding, networking areas and coordinated hotel services shape the visitor journey. Loading, storage, accessibility and service circulation require detailed design.
